BEACH GOTH 2018 @ L.A. STATE HISTORIC PARK

August 6th, 2018

A sense of nostalgia took over the L.A. State Historic Park as The Growlers found a new home in an area where a lot of great music has been played via FYF. With the name Beach Goth back in its hands, it was time to really party-albeit hot as hell in August as opposed to hot as hell in October.

VIDEO PREMIERE: DISTRACTOR “NOT THE SAME”

VIDEO PREMIERE: VALEN “I’LL BE WAITING FOR YOU”

February 15th, 2018

Valen is a singer/songwriter newly settled in L.A. and you can consider this video her showstopping official introduction. "I'll Be Waiting For You" is a hazy slow-burning heartbreaker of a song, with 80s pop hooks drifting through up-close-and-personal bedroom-style production, and that makes the video by Growlers-embedded director/cinematographer/videographer Taylor Bonin and producer Danny Rose especially fitting. See for yourself—Valen might be singing into her mirror, or she might be singing right to you. She'll perform at the Moroccan Lounge on Wed., Mar. 7, before some west coast dates and a stint with Broncho on Fri., Mar. 23, at the Echo and on Sat., Mar. 24, at the Wayfarer in Costa Mesa. Complete tour dates below!

THE GROWLERS SIX @ LA WATERFRONT

November 1st, 2017

From the anticipation and excitement of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grateful Shred passing out joints at exactly 4:20, the thrilling Wall of Death, not knowing what you will see or hear in the Death of a Clown tent, Beth Ditto eating someone's pizza and giving a shout out to Allison Wolfe of Ex Stains, the fun times with The B-52s and so much more-it appears to be the right direction for The Growlers' vision.
