It’s never a dull moment when singer/songwriter Ezra Furman comes to town. He played his final night of tour promoting 12 Nudes to a very engaged and lively crowd with support from Kelley Stoltz. Furman and his band created a safe queer space for the evening, even dedicating a song to “all the queers out there.”

A very grateful Furman was full of smiles and dark humor and had nothing but appreciation for his fans. We sang along to his 21-song set, including a three-song encore, and a small mosh pit broke out during faster tempo songs. Furman had powerful words of wisdom regarding the human body and the state of the world.
