The Grammy Museum’s latest edition of its program, The Drop, featured a discussion and intimate performance from The Bird and the Bee(comprised of Inara George and Greg Kurstin). The powerhouse pop duo went into detail on their Interpreting the Masters Vol. 2: A Tribute to Van Halen and fielded audience questions.

The short, but sweet set that followed included plenty of the band’s original material showcasing its signature sound and Inara George’s angelic vocals: “You’re a Cad,” “Again & Again,” “Polite Song,” “Please Take Me Home,” and the thematically appropriate “Diamond Dave.” We were also treated to the re-imagined Van Halen classics featured on the duo’s cover album, like “Runnin’ with the Devil,” “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love,” and “Panama.”

The sublime evening ended with a shimmering cover of “How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees.
