There wasn’t an artist that took the stage this weekend without thanking Tyler The Creator for inviting them to what has to be the best Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival yet. This year, it was held at Dodger Stadium. The dtla skyline was a beautiful backdrop, despite the smoke from nearby fires. The big event of the weekend was Kids See Ghosts (Kanye West and Kid Cudi) whose merch was going for $$$. Post Malone drew such a crowd beforehand at the Camp Stage, that the LAFD had to pull a lot of people over the rail and ask the entire crowd to step back or they couldn’t continue. Thankfully, everyone complied and the show went on. No one wanted to miss Kids See Ghosts live debut.

Over at the Flog stage, BROCKHAMPTON brought such energy and force to the stage, it was impossible not to be strongly affected by them. The gigantic crowd they accumulated was going nuts. Jaden Smith (who jokingly called Tyler the Creator his boyfriend-he was sitting in the pit) also had a crowd crushed up as far as they could go. Smith joined BROCKHAMPTON on their set as well.

Lil Yachty was singing and watching Tierra Whack while signing autographs for fans in the smashed in the front as she showered the crowd with gifts of tampons.

Rex Orange County, Bane’s World, Men I Trust, Jorja Smith and Raveena kept it silky smooth and Billie Eilish, SZA and ASAP Rocky kept everyone grooving.
