Gabriel Garzón-Montano made his LA headlining debut at The Troubadour. The Brooklyn-based crooner is currently touring in support of his latest release Jardin. The sold out crowd sung along to Garzón-Montano’s mix of r&b, hip hop, and soul tunes.

Backed only by a live drummer and pre-recorded tracks, his French-Columbian heritage was highlighted in interesting South American-influenced time signatures and Spanish lyrics on several songs. The multi-instrumentalist put on an impressive show that left us satisfied. DJ and friend of Garzón-Montano, Space People, got the night going.

You can catch Garzón-Montano when he is back in town at the Natural History Museum on Friday, June 9th.
