Dinosaur Jr. @ The Teragram Ballroom

The first of three evenings with J, Lou and Murph brought out diehards of Dinosaur Jr. and music fans that had yet to hear the respected trio live.

“Did you bring your earplugs?” was heard around The Teragram Ballroom before they blew the walls out with their prodigious Marshall stacks.

New songs were played off Dinosaur Jr.’s eleventh studio album Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not, including “Tiny,” “Knocked Around,” and “I Walk for Miles.” A very young “guitar tech” had J grin as he handed him his guitar. To watch and hear this band do what they do is mind blowing.

What will tonight’s setlist bring?

Heron Oblivion preceded with their own wall of beautiful sound and worth showing up early for.
