Jagwar Ma @ The Roxy

After playing one of the best sets at FYF on Saturday (albeit it would have been even sweeter in the evening), the Aussie trio of Jagwar Ma played an intimate gig at The Roxy to share some new tunes from their sophomore album Every Now and Then dropping on October 14th.

The room was packed with people ready to move and sway as Gabriel Winterfield (lead vox/guitar), Jono Ma (guitar/ beats/synths/production), and bass guitarist Jack Freeman delivered instant new hits like “O B 1” and “Give Me a Reason,” as well as favorites from Jagwar Ma’s debut album Howlin’ such as the get-up-off-your-derrière “Save Me.”

Fellow Aussie Kirin J. Callinan preceded by quickly grabbing our attention with his suaveness and horseshoe pedal set up. After falling asleep in the VIP area, Callinan took to the stage with his mates for the final song of the evening.
