Brooklyn folk group Woods took the stage at The Echoplex to deliver a set of feel-good tunes. The audience swayed as the band performed songs from their 2016 release City Sun Eater in the River of Light along with favorites from all seven of their studio albums. Multi-intrumentalist Kyle Forester switched between keyboard, saxophone, and harmonica as frontman Jeremy Earl strummed away and sang with his enchanting voice. Original member Kevin Morby joined the group for the encore.

Cian Nugent was thankful for the LA heat, saying “It doesn’t even get as warm (in Ireland) as it does in here with the air conditioning on.” Starting off the set solo, the energy increated as he was joined by his band. Aaron Neveu from Woods kept rhythm on the drums and Carrie Keith from Gun Outfit joined in at the end of the set.

“Hi we’re Gun Outfit from down the street!” The neighborhood band opened with a set full of smooth sounding tunes.
