It has been too long since Nashville rockers Diarrhea Planet have been to LA and it was apparent that a number of people were more than excited once the band took the stage. Guitars and bodies merged into one cosmic blast inside The Echoplex as songs from their latest Turn To Gold caused a lot of grown men to lose their minds and almost cry. The six-piece is a force on stage and can cover AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” like no other.

Also from Nashville and on Infinity Cat Recordings, Music Band has been on tour with DP and brought in a lot of fans for their short and sweet set. MB’s album Wake Up Laughing just came out and the trio comprised of Harry Kagan (guitar), Lee Putney (drums) and Duncan Shea (bass) is straight up, in-your-face rock n’ roll. “Fortune Guns” was a definite highlight.

Locals Lovely Bad Things started early, but people were there to sing along with their cover of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Burnin’ For You.”
