English band Basement headlined the second night of its US tour in support of latest release Promise Everything. While the crowd was not as insane as it was during Turnstile who preceded, Basement kept the energy high throughout the set as most of the crowd chose to hold their phones above their heads in lieu of letting loose.

Turnstile’s lead singer, Brendan Yates, spent most of the set throwing the mic to the floor as it soared through the air into the crowd, or handing it off to one of the many fans making a pit stop on the stage before they, themselves, joined the throng of crowdsurfing kids. A typical show for the Baltimore hardcore punk band with otherworldly energy.

Boston’s Defeater turned it up a few notches with screamer Derek Archambault. The melodic hardcore four piece tore up the stage and sent the energy in the venue through the roof.

LA-based Colleen Green was the calm and cool before the storm.
