RA RA RIOT + PWR BTTM + AND THE KIDS @ THE TERAGRAM BALLROOM
Photos and recap by Debi Del Grande
As Thursday evening rolled around, music fans headed to the Teragram Ballroom to hear Ra Ra Riot play new songs from Need Your Light. Lead singer Wes Miles mentioned that when the band plays in LA in the middle of a tour, it gives them that push to get through the rest of the tour. Not surprising, as the show was sold out and the crowd was utterly engaged with every song played, giving the band back the good vibes.
Queer garage punk duo PWR BTTM consisting of guitarist Ben Hopkins and drummer Liv Bruce was definitely a highlight of the evening and a breath of fresh air. As they switched instruments, we were highly entertained by their sense of humor and wit.
And The Kids, with a little help from Andrea (a deer they found in the woods) were well received and definitely one to catch next time they play here.
