Making a stop on their way back from SXSW, Chairlift dazzled us at The El Rey Theatre which was sold out and filled with fans ready to hear songs from their latest album, Moth, as well as gems from their previous two albums. Singer Caroline Polachek was mesmerizing to watch on stage as her graceful interpretive dance moves matched her incredible vocals. The other half of Chairlift, Patrick Wimberly, was a warrior on drums, guitar and backing vocals. Chairlift was accompanied by two multi-instrumental musicians who completed the duo’s captivating set. Polachek did let us know this was the best show yet. The bar has been set.

Lydia Ainsworth opened and was joined with two string players. Ainsworth will be touring with Chairlift as well as Purity Ring this Spring.
