The Black Lips were back in LA for two nights at The Teragram Ballroom. It’s always a good time when the Atlanta guys come to town so it’s no wonder the place was packed Monday night with fans who wanted to let loose. And let loose indeed. There was the usual moshing, but The Black Lips have chilled with a few of the stage antics and are more focused on the music – although Cole Alexander did have his famous medical condition. You never know what will happen when you go to see Ariel Pink and that’s why he’s such a magnet for people who like surprises and can roll. But one thing that is consistent – his commitment to telling some of the most interesting stories through song.
