Coming all the way from Sweden, poppy garage rock band Makthaverskan played The Smell for FYF on the opening evening of their Fall North American tour. Rocking gear borrowed from the other bands on the bill, the quartet played a solid set while apologizing for sucking between each song. Their tour takes them across the country and into Canada before winding up at CMJ Fest in New York in the middle of October.

Opening the evening were Los Angeles bands, Roses and Post Life, who both brought excited fan bases that stayed and supported throughout the night. Both bands have recently released cassettes for sale: buy Roses cassingle split on Danger Collective Records and Post Life’s “Living Can Wait” on Bandcamp.
