Dead Sara has quite the army of fans who packed in close to the stage for the first of two sold out shows last night at The Troubadour. The band is on tour supporting the release of their latest album Pleasure To Meet You, which just came out in March. Lead singer Emily Armstrong humbly joked, “You’re welcome,” after commenting that the band had released two albums in ten years. Lack of a lengthy catalog was not a problem, however. The band rocked the stage for a solid full set that spanned both albums and their 2008 EP and the fans sang along to every single one. Dead Sara does it all again tonight for the second sold out show. Walker Lukens opened for them with a set containing some pretty hard hitting blues songs. He’s definitely worth showing up early to see.
