DEAD MEN WALKING + BARB WIRE DOLLS @ THE TROUBADOUR
Photos and words by Cortney Armitage
“There is no one in punk rock who’s normal. Let’s face it. Thank fucking God for that.” ~ Captain Sensible aka Raymond Ian Burns (bass)(The Damned).
The superheroes of rock played The Troubadour once again with new tunes from Easy Piracy. The powerhouse team of Dead Men Walking consisting of Captain Sensible, Mike Peters (The Alarm/Coloursound), Chris Cheney (The Living End) and Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats) might also be the most well respected men in the business. They are often able to gather other rockers to join them in their sets. This time around, Dead Men Walking brought with them Foo Fighter Chris Shiflett on guitar and The Pogues’ James Fearnley who seriously got down on his fantastic accordion.
Barb Wire Dolls dazzled as they warmed things up.
