With soft white curtains, several beautiful flower arrangements and a disco ball adorning the stage, it wasn’t Florence and the Machine about to play The Wiltern Theatre. The first of the three-night stay had the morphic and powerful Faith No More kick our “LA fucking ass” and left this show one that will be hard to top after an explosive setlist, which included the brand new “Black Friday” a crowd-pleasing “Midlife Crisis” and everyone’s favorite The Commodores’ cover of “Easy.” We had a few teases from the anticipated Sol Invictus so get there tonight and tomorrow night for where there is sure to be more surprises (more gimp), along with a more intimate setting at The Observatory on Saturday.
