It appeared that three different groups of fans came to the Roxy for three bands who all tore up Coachella over the weekend. Joyce Manor started things up as a few fans crowd surfed and respected the no stage diving sign outside. Despite the short set, fans were there early to support the Torrance band. When Touche Amore took the stage, however, their dedicated fans went into a frenzy. They sang every word to every song as they climbed towards vocalist Jeremy Bolm while their veins popped out of their necks. As they tried to dive back into the crowd from the stage, the fans in front wearing Desaparecidos shirts pushed them back onto the stage. Thankfully, everyone survived to watch the Desaparecidos band take control of the venue, just like they did at The Fonda and Troubadour. Conor Oberst and his band of brothers wasted no time obliterating the Roxy. All three bands are worthy of this weekend’s Coachella heat.
