The Echo was a perfect environment to be up close and personal to Kim Gordon (co-founder of Sonic Youth) and Bill Nace as their experimental band Body/Head took us on a path less traveled. It was a full-on dance of guitars, keeping all our senses in full gear. Nace paced like a panther and let the crowd make some sounds on his guitar as Gordon captivated our minds with distortion and vocals. Gordon’s memoir Girl in a Band arrives February 24th and she will be speaking with Aimee Mann at Bergamot Station on March 5th. Body/Head plays a free show tonight at The Getty at 7:30 p.m.
