Monster drums, growling guitars, and girls, girls, girls filled the hot cabaret belly of El Cid on Thursday. LA rock fixtures Meghan Toohey (power producer, multi-instrumentalist) and Patty Schemel (Hole, Hit So Hard) rocked with new project, The Cold and Lovely. Professor Possessor opened with a dancey 90s-inspired set, and Nightmail closed out the night with dreamy guitar and dark, driving pop sounds.
