TEMPER TRAP W/CROCODILES @ THE HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM

June 18th, 2012 | Photos

Although the Crocodiles took the stage at the Hollywood Palladium to a lack-luster crowd (all waiting for Oz’s Temper Trap) it was clear that the energy provided by singer Brandon Welchez and company was more than enough to remind those lucky to have showed up early why the Crocodiles are an amazing force unto its own. A perfect musical accompaniment to Temper Trap’s indie rock dance party, which was even more enjoyable in person than in recording, a facet of the band’s interaction with the crowd who sang along full-roar to the new music off of its eponymous second album. Bonus points for penning “I’m Gonna to Wait” as a tribute to repeated listening of rock goddess Zola Jesus. Photos by Melissa Esterby.
