On possibly the most gorgeous Sunday of the year so far, I Hate Rock ‘N’ Roll and Wendo Presents brought “Grillin & Chillin” to a back yard in Highland Park. Young Prisms and Dominant Legs (featuring the newest member of Girls) came from San Francisco, The Babies (with members of Vivian Girls and Woods) were here from New York, and Los Angeles was ably repped by Wounded Lion and White Fences (some of whom you might recognize from Darker My Love and Nodzzz). Also on hand were free beer, burgers, the most glamorous barbecue bartender ever, face painting by Paus and lots and lots of sunshine.
