Long Beach’s Nectarines (guitarist/vocalist Nima Kazerouni of So Many Wizards with bassist Zeynep Graves, keyboardist Jackie Yates and drummer Allie Bumsted) have a new video for their February single “Lies,” in which a particularly catchy kinda break-up song turns into a scary story about bright light and empty graveyards, and about what might happen when nobody listens. (Spoiler: that graveyard gets a little less empty by the end of the video.) Nectarines have a 12″ out on Long Beach’s Porch Party Records and will be performing at Blushh‘s tour kick-off at the Smell on Sat., Sept. 8, with the Total Bettys, Rosie Tucker and Colleen Green DJing.
