Cassette Store Day—the wilder younger sibling of Record Store Day—is back again on Sat., Oct. 13, and of course there’s a giant pile of exclusive releases on deck. This complete CSD release list comes from Burger Records, world-famous cheerleaders of the cassette culture revival, and includes lots of releases by L.A. RECORD-reviewed locals (like Imaad Wasif, Redd Kross, E Ruscha V, Tomorrows Tulips, Dream Phases and more, including a slate of tapes from Nomad Eel) as well as classics (or soon to be classics) on cassette by Nick Lowe and Sleep (playing San Pedro next month) and a surprise run of ska from Jump Up Records.
