Painter, musician and recent L.A. RECORD contributor Makan Negahban really lives up to the ‘yourself’ part of do-it-yourself in this fully made-by-hand video for his solo project Pomdip and the lovely little pop song “Plum,” brought to cheerfully colored pixelated life by Makan himself. “Plum” comes from Pomdip’s A Jar At The Jamboree, released last month on L.A.’s New Los Angeles label, and Makan’s band Bür Gür will perform at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s Night Dive on Fri., Aug. 25, in Long Beach.
