DJ/producer/polymath Ahee (a.k.a. Chris Adams) is nothing if not prolific, releasing multiple projects on multiple platforms year after year after year. And here’s another manifestation of his vision in the form of an uplifting little animated video that comes off like Don Hertzfeldt with a (spoiler) happy (and cosmic) ending. “Get Higher” was the lead track on his 2016 release Bass Ship, and this video was put together across nine supremely involved months by Ahee with character design by Dome of Doom‘s Wylie Cable and animation by Taybrook Mills of Obscuro Studios, with animation assistance by Brian Duffy.
