TRACK PREMIERE: GOLDEN DAZE “DRIFT”
If you are an L.A.-area musician who would like to submit unreleased songs or videos of any genre for premiere, email a stream or download link to fortherecord@larecord.com.
L.A. duo Golden Daze are on the eve of the release of their second album and they’re positively floating with their new single “Drift,” which splits the difference between a Velvet Underground ballad and something sentimental by a paisley underground band like Rain Parade. As the title implies, this is a song that doesn’t ever touch the ground. “Drift” and ten more of its gently psychedelic friends are out tomorrow on Golden Daze’s sophomore full-length Simpatico, available from Autumn Tone, and they’ll be doing their record release on Fri., Feb. 15, at the revived Non Plus Ultra with Jess Williamson, Space Equator and DJ Shags—flyer below and get tickets here!
