TRACK PREMIERE: CURTISS KING “FLEXIBLE MINDS”
I.E. producer Curtiss King (who you might remember from “A Rebellion” off Ab-Soul’s Control System) is about to release an relentlessly physical new album on L.A.’s Alpha Pup—it’s called Creatine and it’s a soundtrack to a committed 30-minute-workout, starting with “2 Minute Abs” and (after a “Cool Down”) finishing with an “AM Stretch.” Premiering here is the second single “Flexible Minds,” since the mind is of course the most powerful part of the body—three minutes of ultra-modern funk with neuron-bursting drums and cosmic synths. (If you ever tried to devise a fitness routine to that Personal Space comp, this is the album for you.) Creatine is out Feb. 12.
