Jail Weddings are fun. They’re really fun. But not just that–they’re also really, really, really good. If you don’t have fun at a Jail Weddings show, your soul is dead and you’re probably incapable of loving anything great and frankly, I think you have some introspective work to do. The soul child of the brilliant Gabe Hart (of Starvations fame) and containing ten whole members (two gorgeous female singers who always look simply smashing, violin, bass, sax, piano, drums, and two guitarists who always look simply dashing) this is not like any other act you’ve ever seen–unless you were born in 1923. A serendipitous mix of doo-wop, excellent instrumentalization and good old-fashioned rock n’ roll, this is definitely an act to catch.  And to catch them at Alex’s? Dude, if you don’t have fun, I don’t even want to know you.
