Radio Free Silverlake will host yet another amazing bill tonight at Boardner’s for his monthly Let’s Independent shindig. If you’re not familiar with the night you should definitely check out his insane list of past performers–pretty much every major band in the L.A. music scene has graced the courtyard stage, making it one of the best places to catch new underground music. This evening the stage is set for Everest, The Transmissions, and The Bentleys to totally dominate. Everest recently signed to Vapor Records and will release a debut full length, Ghost Notes, on April 8th. Their dynamic blend of folk pop and country soul is a near perfect fit for a label owned by the Neil Young. Plus vocalist Russell Pollard’s voice is smooth enough to land a space shuttle on. The Transmissions and The Bentleys have been garnering plenty of their own praise, so best to check them out now. Admission as always is totally free!
