The Kills’ newest release Midnight Boom is another piece of “very disposable” media! I don’t know anything about them nor do I care to! If you’re into snotty neo-underground fashion-conscious new wave, this “bud’s” for you!! All your typical chic drug references on top of remedial musicianship make up this bowl of “fruity pops.” Most of the time it reminded me if the B-52’s fired Fred Schneider and one of the girls and decided to get a “little edgy and angular” for the camera. I know when they wrote “What New York Used To Be,” they thought they really “captured the vibe.” All in all, lots of fashion photos in the booklet. A metrosexual classic!!! Hail Satan!

what a shitty, inaccurate and unfounded review. You can’t just knock them because you have a misconception of how seriously they take themselves and how cool that YOU THINK they think they are.

You said that you don’t know them or care to, but your entire review is based on what you think they are. what a lame ass.

Heru speaks the truth. Don’t kill the messenger. Embrace him and all that he stands for.

Long live HERU! It’s nice to read a funny review that doesn’t suck up to current trends. The Kills ARE a fashion band and always have been.
    Style-Substance=Nothing at all
