A much-deserved stand for the nicest guys to pound out Replacements rock—Eric, Joey, Andy and Noah on the third leg of their February residency at the Echo. Everyone has pinned the Henry Clay People to that bar-bound sound since The Birdman & (The) Squid, but Henry Clay have straightened out since then—guitars and words all streamlined in the streets of Montreal for Blacklist the Kid With the Black Moustache and honed again with the sharpest ease for the upcoming Working Full Time EP and its accompanying 7” pressed by friends at JaxArt. This won’t be the last leg—just another solid stop to catch the band with Kissing Tigers, Happy Hollows and Death to Anders.
