They put on a good show, with Millan strutting around the stage playing air drums and Campbell making overly serious faces while bellowing “Take me to the Riot.” Halfway through, the drummer put on an LED helmet. Why? We’re not sure. But the reason these guys have been around for so long is because that’s the kind of stuff that makes for a memorable concert.

Dr. Dog took the stage with more of a thunder-and-lightning approach, with bassist Toby Leaman stalking the stage like Henry Rollins in a fluffy wool cap while guitarist Scott McMicken (also in a cap) roared through “Mirror, Mirror” to open the set.
