Welsh alt-rockers The Joy Formidable returned to LA for an intimate show The Masonic Lodge, and turned the night into a min-scavenger hunt. Before the show, the band hid seven special “magic” coins around the venue, redeemable for a prize at the merch table if found. Those that checked out the band’s Twitter feed before the show were already in-the-know, but for others, it was news when told about the quest by lead singer Ritzy Bryan. Only two coins were found at the time, but Bryan offered reassurance to finding the remaining coins: “We’re not good hiders.”
