Saint Vitus has held a special place in my heart since I first heard ‘Look Behind You’ on The Blasting Concept Vol. 2, where they unknowingly created a genre of heavy metal that had yet to be named. If the politicos occupying Chocolate City ever get around to building a monument on the mall to good ol’ American rhythm ‘n’ blues funk rock, Dawn Silva’s name needs to be etched in bold print.
