Tonight, Daedelus is performing at LACMA’s Halloween party, the Kubrick masquerade ball, so it seemed only appropriate that we should find out what’s his favorite scary movie and paste him into a scene from Kubrick’s creepiest film, of course. It also happens to be his birthday today. This interview by Daiana Feuer.

Due to some issues, Los Globos had to close its doors, for now…forever… we don’t know. BLOODY DEATH SKULL IS… BY CHRIS HAJEK
October 26th, 2012 · No Comments
Three cute girls and one handsome dude all tangled up in red jumpsuits, Hawaiian shirts, toy space helmets and zombie makeup, they’re probably the least terrifying people who’ll ever show up to your party with four gallons of fake blood and a Skull in their name. They sit around on stage like kids in a sandbox, surrounded by toys and instruments and pedals and cables and things they barely understand, and they serenade you with playmusic like this is the first time they’re trying it themselves.

Last year I went to a Halloween party of theirs and had a great time, so of course I wanted to create a tradition and join them again this year.
Upon entry, you were greeted by a thick black curtain, unexpected of what fun awaits you. Once through the curtain, in front of you is a giant inflatable bounce house next to a cotton candy machine.

November 8th, 2010 · No Comments
Amongst a sea of costumes and frivolity that seems destined to be KCRWs annual Halloween bash, The Duke Spirit’s Liela Moss proved she’s far more than all legs and sequins, as she graced the stage at the 2010 masquerade ball—even while barking the as yet unsolved between-song comment: “I think you’re disgusting.” Ok, Ok, maybe [...]
