It bored me. I thought all the players were quite impressive in their own regards, and everyone had their moments, but overall, the show just didn't really do it for me. And as far as improvisation goes, there are many more guitarists in the world that blow Lanois out of the water in that department. Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The band wasn't "jiving together as a unit?" Really? I think Lanois' improvisational style has confused you. This group, with the exception of Trixie, have played together for many years and I thought the band blended very well with each other.
