“I’ve missed you so much!” Lead singer Ed Macfarlane exclaimed as he took the stage at the Fonda along with other original members, Jack Savidge and Edd Gibson for a night worth the long, long wait.

It’s been eight grueling years since UK’s Friendly Fires has gifted our ears and soul with new music. They played many tunes from their much anticipated third album, Inflorescent, creating the ultimate dance party with Macfarlane commanding the stage with his wild dance moves. The band’s seductive sounds culminated in one hell of a sweaty, raucous night.

L.A. based De Lux opened with its post-apocalyptic disco pop tunes. Awash in provocative synths and an irresistible beat, the band set the stage for the amazing show yet to come.
