“I live in Frogtown….which is where these songs were written,” proclaimed songwriter and musician Michael Collins, otherwise known as Drugdealer, as he kicked off the album release party for his new LP Raw Honey at Teragram Ballroom.

Joined by a full band with whom the album was recorded, Drugdealer played a fun laidback set featuring songs from the new release including the single “Fools” and an opening cover of Pure Prairie League’s “Amie.” The band was joined by several guest singers throughout the set, all close friends of Collins. Raw Honey is out Friday, April 19th on Mexican Summer.

Drugdealer’s set was sandwiched between two sets from LA’s own Sgt. Peppers Beatles Tribute band, with Collins and the rest of his band joining the crowd for some twisting and shouting during their closing set.
