The ever-relevant machine that is Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross brought evening two of six of Nine Inch Nails’ Cold and Black and Infinite tour to the Hollywood Palladium for a special treat for diehards and the casual fans alike. The venue was packed with barely any room to move among the black clad music lovers, yet alone see the band, which also includes long time touring members Robyn Finck, Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin. Not a lot of time for small talk as the setlist was long, but Reznor did make mention it would be the last time they play the David Bowie covers (for real) who was a huge inspiration.

Talk about inspiration–The Jesus and Mary Chain have been supporting NIN on this tour and it was no surprise the venue was already packed as they took the stage and immediately played “Just Like Honey,” a few from 2017’s Damage and Joy and closed with “Reverence.”
