Fans of The Japanese House packed the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery–many of whom showed up early, enduring the chilly “winter” weather for a chance to hear and see solo artist Amber Bain and her band in the intimate and warm space. The show kicked off Bain’s North American tour. Bain recently dropped her new single “Lilo” from her yet to be released album Good At Falling, which is scheduled for release on March 1st 2019. Fortunately for those of us who can’t wait until next year, Bain performed two unreleased tracks “You Seemed so Happy” and “Maybe You’re the Reason.” The show wrapped up with us singing along to the evocative track “Clean.”

UK artist Fake Laugh warmed up the early crowd.
