Punk icon John Lydon/Johnny Rotten and his band Public Image Ltd (PIL) brought the Public Image is Rotten tour to The Fonda Theatre after being moved from The El Rey Theatre because, well, a lot of people want to hear classics like “Public Image,” “This is not a Love Song,” “Death Disco,” and “Rise.” This is the 40th anniversary of P.I.L. and there was a lot to celebrate.
