Weezer @ The Forum

Fusing together Weezer, Pixies and Sleigh Bells for a show brought together a couple generations of fans for one solid evening of music and good vibes at The Forum.

The energy at the sold out show was as high as most audience members as Rivers Cuomo took to the B Stage via scooter for a full audience participation on “Islands in the Sun” and a-ha’s “Take Me On.” But what really made us go nutso was the cover of Toto’s “Africa” with Weird Al’ Yankovic as a surprise guest.

The Pixies were polished and rocked it with strong cuts like “I’ve Been Tired” and “Nimrod’s Son” along with the well knowns “Where is My Mind?” and “Gigantic.”

Early attendees welcomed Sleigh Bells who play The Observatory on Friday.
