After performing “Cicada” off their newly released album Floating Features, lead singer/guitarist Shana Cleveland of La Luz had this to say: “Thank you guys so much for coming. This is truly amazing, and just the greatest thing after being on the road for 6 weeks. Coming back to this, it really feels so good.” Screaming La Luz fans packed the sold out Teragram Ballroom to watch their hometown band (formerly from Seattle) play songs including new ones like the groovy “California Finally,” “The Creature” with its esoteric vibe and the slightly folksy “Mean Dream.” They wrapped up the show with the upbeat doo-wop “Pink Slime.”

Summer Twins and The Tracks warmed up the early crowd.
