Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls headlined an incredible evening of music with dynamic, passionate folk-rock. With searing and honest lyrics, even more so on the new, politically charged Be More Kind, Turner’s songwriting and message has never been more clear. Loyal fans shouted, moshed, and crowdsurfed the entire night, eagerly singing along to Turner, who eventually joined the sweaty throngs during the encore by singing and surfing to “Four Simple Words.”

Derek Zanetti, AKA The Homeless Gospel Choir, garnered laughs with his acoustic punk rock music for the weirdos and outcasts. The Menzingers barrelled through a high energy set, and Lucero followed through a drunken proposal of playing its brand new album in its entirety for the band’s 45 minute set.
