As soon as Nightmare Air returned home from Europe supporting Gary Numan (NBD), Dave Dupuis, Swaan Miller and Jimmy Lucido wasted no time in holding a little record release party for the hometown crowd at The Bootleg where someone won a Fender guitar, various vendors were in the back and of course, the sonic shoegaze sounds of Nightmare Air helped us start the weekend just right. With Miller’s angelic vocals, Dupuis’ crazy shredding and Lucido’s perfectly timed beats, Fade Out is a sweet Spring treat.

It was an emotional set for DRÆMINGS. Kimi Recor didn’t contain herself on vocals and poured her heart and soul into every song. She paid tribute to local photographer Emery Becker who died tragically last month. He was always up front enjoying the music and spreading good vibes. One woman thanked her at the end of the show saying it was her husband’s birthday and how she made his night.

Metal Mother started the party.
