YELLOW DAYS + JON BAP @ THE MOROCCAN LOUNGE

The buzz is strong with teen-aged George Van Den Broek, AKA Yellow Days, with fans lining up nearly 3 hours before the second sold out show at the Moroccan Lounge was to even start.
The shockingly deep, mature, and gravelly voice seemingly weathered by several decades of hard knocks and nicotine is what pulls fans into the shimmery music of Yellow Days. The young UK singer-songwriter’s crooning and signature yelping is awash in guitar, trumpet, and synths, highlighted on the stage by dreamy film projections.
Songs like “Gap in the Clouds” and “People” are perfect examples of the way old school R&B is blended with a modern, lo-fi indie spin.
With the current U.S. tour a sell out, Yellow Days is certainly on the way to much bigger venues and many more fans as word gets out.
