“It’s been too long since we’ve played LA,” lamented Chase Simpson, guitarist for The Shelters, who brought their blend of guitar-heavy, SoCal-tinged rock n’ roll to The Echo last night.

The energetic foursome – also comprised of Josh Jove, Sebastian Harris, and Jacob Pillot – played a mix of songs from their debut EP and self-titled full length, as well as two brand new tunes titled “Bad Dreams” and “Strange.” This show was the last for The Shelters in 2017, who have since begun working on their sophomore album here in LA. We want more!

The night was kicked off by fellow LA natives The Tracks and Hearty Har.
