The Denver-based husband-and-wife duo Tennis was a live four-piece indie pop sensation at The Fonda Theatre, performing to their largest audience yet during the band’s tenure. The set was in support of their latest full-length record Yours Conditionally, which singer Alaina Moore expressed was the result of label shifts and “finding themselves” once again. They certainly made an impression on the crowd, which looked about sold-out with devoted fans and newcomers alike, rocking to the lo-fi vibes of “Ladies Don’t Play Guitar” and swooning to the dreaminess of “Modern Woman.” With spacious staging and luminous lighting, Tennis made their tight-knit brand of pop welcome to Hollywood.

Portland’s Wild Ones opened with songs from their album Mirror Touch.
