The Interrupters had a rousing homecoming at the Fonda Theatre, living the dream by headlining the historic venue. Guitarist Kevin Bivona and lead singer Aimee Interrupter led the band’s jubilant ska-punk tunes attracted fans of all ages, leading plenty to skank, mosh, and crowd surf the night away. The evening ended with streams of confetti on the dance floor.

Co-headliners SWMRS gave props to the upcoming Halloween holiday, with frontman Cole Becker in full Joker make-up and a dress and bassist Seb Mueller outfitted as a very large baby. Despite the band’s youthful antics, especially coming from bassist Max Becker’s uni-browed face, SWMRS took time for a few serious notes about the state of the world, and the importance of this generation to step up and act.

UK’s SHARP/SHOCK jolted the Fonda Theatre with an exuberant blast of energy, capping off a strong set with a cover of The Clash’s “Police on My Back.”
